Popular FIFA World Cup Ads From 2010 Onwards

1)Coca-Cola Street- Real Magic 2022

Coca-Cola has released a 60-second commercial for the World Cup 2022. The Coca-Cola Company has had a long-established tie-up with FIFA and has been an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup since 1978. Coca-Cola has commenced its FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign with “Street,” directed by AG Rojas and produced by Park Pictures. The new campaign went live on TV, radio, and other platforms on October 7. The advertisement opens with a girl buying a bottle of Coca-Cola, walking out into the street, taking a gulp of Coca-Cola, and imagining that her team will win the World Cup. A cloud of red smoke appears in the sky, and a piece of confetti hovers down into her hand. The street is overcrowded with people, and they celebrate their team’s triumph. The street is in a celebratory mood with fireworks, music, street parties, and a cavalcade that lays out the magic of the World Cup. She breaks back into reality while taking a sip of her drink and runs inside her house to watch a match. The ad ends with onscreen text reading, “Believing is Magic.”

2) Adidas – Family Reunion 2022

In connection with the FIFA World Cup 2022, Adidas reveals the next chapter of its story with its global football family, “Impossible is Nothing.” The advertisement brings together the football kings: Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, Achraf Hakimi, Son Heung-min, Jude Bellingham, Pedro “Pedri” Gonzalez Lopez, Serge Gnabry, and Stormzy. The high spirits celebrate football’s combined happiness. It encourages players and fans from all over the world.

3) Nike World Cup ad named ‘The Goat Experiment’ 2022

Nike has released its World Cup advertisement for the 2022 World Cup. There are modern-day stars such as Kylian Mbappe, Kevin de Bruyne, Virgil van Dijk, and Cristiano Ronaldo. There are also figures from the decennium, such as Ronaldo, Edgar Davis, Ronaldinho, and Cristiano Ronaldo. The ad is set in a Swiss lab to explain  the concept, and there is a debate between a pair of scientists: who is better, 2022 Mbappe or 2006 Ronaldhinno? After that, there is the arrival of the Brazilian hero Ronaldo1998. Four years later, the same hero with a new haircut appeared. The same honorable player, but from two different time periods. Nike’s ads give more prominence to female stars too, such as Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, Sam Kerr and Leah Williamson. The advertisement ends with shadows of players, indicating the future generation of football stars.

4)Pepsi’s World Cup Ads Nutmeg Royale 2022

Ahead of the FIFA World Cup, Pepsi launched its commercial  “Nutmeg Royale” with football legends Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, and Ronaldinho. The ad begins with Leo Messi getting distracted by a fan offering him a Pepsi, which results in a blessing for him. The diversion serves as encouragement for the nutmeg royale battle, and the surprising football kicking seizes the attention of everyone. In “Nutmeg Royale,” everything and everyone is a target. Aamer Sheikh, CEO of PepsiCo Middle East, said that football brings us all together, across generations and borders, to share a love of the game, and the “Nutmeg Royale”’ film captures this spirit.

5) Viacom18 Sports ‘Isse Bada Kuch Nahi’ 2022

Viacom18 Sports launched a new campaign based on the FIFA World Cup named “Isse Bada Kuch Nahi”. The advertisement film was developed and visualized by Ogilvy, which is a story of a fun heist succeeded by a group of soccer fans. A fairly large crowd gathered to watch the puppet show. When a loud whistle interrupts the game, football fans seize the opportunity. The puppets of superstars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr., Harry Kane, and Kylian Mbappe entered. This ad brings joy  to the audience.

6) ESPN –“One Game Changes Everything” 2010

The advertisement was released in 2010, produced by Wieden+Kennedy and directed by  cinematographer Lance Acord. One Game Changes Everything campaign consists of five total spots. The first ad named “Robben Island”, launched on April 7 was fascinated by the historic influence of the 2010 World Cup conducted in South Africa.

7)Budweiser sponsor of 2014 FIF World Cup

Budweiser, a Canadian best seller beer, launched  its campaign for the 2014 FIFA World Cup called “Rise As One”. Budweiser’s Rise as One campaign theme and its first commercial were shot in black and white, putting apart the colors of national flags and jerseys, which highlight the passion and pride for the sport that fuses fans all around the world.

8) Roblox will create a football paradise in 2022.

FIFA announced an official collaboration with Roblox, a virtual gaming hub that celebrates the power of football and the  rich history of its top events. The game also features Spain’s Pedri and Germany’s Lena Oberdorf major characters. This game is completely free, and players can watch live scores, play football, and collect jerseys and other items to enrich their experience.

9) Qatar Airways ads 2022

Qatar Airways released a marketing campaign in partnership with FIFA. The airline aims to delight fans around the world with its imaginative advertising strategy. This advertisement has three parts: a TV advertisement adapted to generate fan excitement, a futuristic tour bus that will travel to Europe, and a virtual in-flight experience in the airline’s business class.

10)PUMA “Journey of Football” 2010

PUMA had an aggressive marketing campaign hosted by South Africa. Puma highlights the beauty of African soccer. These ads represent the celebration of true football. It is also known as the “LOVE= FOOTBALL” campaign. The spot pays tribute to the soul of the game of football.
